Terrazzo, one of the original recycled products available today, was created several hundred years ago in Europe by utilizing the waste chips from slab marble processing.
Terrazzo is cured, ground and polished to a smooth surface or uniformly textured surface to bring out the beauty and luster of the product. Not only is Terrazzo beautiful, it is durable, easy to clean, and even with heavy use terrazzo can be expected to last the life of the building.
Terrazzo, available from Ararat Precast in standard or custom colors, is a practical solution for design and construction in both residential and commercial spaces.
Ararat Precast products include cove or flat base, countertops, and tread and risers in one or two piece combinations.
